Erickson Beamon has been a driving force in costume jewelry design for nearly 30 years and has even been credited with the creation of the chandelier earring. The brand is a partnership between Vicki Beamon and Karen and Eric Erickson, all Detroit-natives. The trio first joined forces in 1982 when they began creating custom jewelry to complement runway fashions and immediately received recognition for their designs. Since then, Erickson Beamon has collaborated with numerous fashion houses including Donna Karan, John Galliano, Zac Posen, Givenchy, Anna Sui, and Emanuel Ungaro, and even worked with the late Alexander McQueen. The cutting edge line enjoys a vast celebrity fan base, ranging from Lady Gaga to First Lady Michelle Obama.
