A world-renown haute couture jewelry line, FENTON was created in 2006 by designer Dana Lorenz. After obtaining degrees as a painter from the University of Iowa and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Lorenz entered the fashion industry, working for Gucci and Donna Karan. With a story in American Vogue about the launch of FENTON, Lorenz’s line garnered immediate press and retail attention and was soon carried at top retailers worldwide, including Barneys, Ikram, Colette, 10 Corso Como, Liberty and Lane Crawford. Numerous fashion icons have worn pieces by FENTON including Emma Watson, Leighton Meester, and Michelle Obama. Lorenz has been recognized by Italian Vogue as one of their “New Talents” featured in the magazine and at Milan Fashion Week. In 2010, Lorenz was a nominee for CFDA Swarovski Accessory Designer of the Year and in 2011, Lorenz was a Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist.
