Leeora Catalan, creator of accessories design house nOir, started her career at Ralph Lauren and Oscar De La Renta before making a name for herself as a fashion stylist. While styling for fashion shows, Catalan began creating her own pieces to accent specific garments, and her designs caught the attention of Italian Vogue, launching the creation of nOir in 1995. Since nOir’s inception, Catalan has collaborated with fashion industry icons like Marc by Marc Jacobs, DKNY, L.A.M.B., Patricia Field, Betsey Johnson, Diesel and Moschino. Catalan’s designs can be found gracing the pages of Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and Numero, and worn by celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Madonna, and Gwen Stefani. Catalan has also collaborated on exclusive projects with Walt Disney and DC Comics.
