House of Harlow
Since skyrocketing to fame in 2003 as Paris Hilton’s best friend on the Fox surprise-smash series “The Simple Life,” Nicole Richie has become one of Hollywood’s most prominent fashion icons. Richie turned a passion into a business when she launched her first jewelry line, House of Harlow 1960, in the fall of 2008. The collection takes its name from her young daughter and features design influences from 1920s, ‘40s, and ‘60s fashions, as well as Native American and tribal decorative traditions.
Aside from acting, designing, and raising her daughter, Richie spends much of her time working with The Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation (RMCF), a charity which she co-founded with musician Joel Madden. Richie also serves on the board of the Environmental Media Association, and supports other charities including The Young Musicians Fund, The Art of Elysium and The Race to Erase MS. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
